Younger Pacquiao Destroys Flushing Flash Kelly

Madison Square Garden, New York, NY, USA - Bobby "The Sniper" Pacquiao, younger brother of P4P star Manny Pacquiao, successfully defended his WBC Continental Americas Super Featherweight Title against Kevin "Flushing Flash" Kelly via a 4th-round KO in a Cotto-Malignaggi undercard last June 10.

Bobby dropped Kelly in the 3rd with a powerful left, but the latter was saved by the bell. Bobby came out firing in the 4th, smelling blood, he KO'ed Kelly with a staggering body shot in 1:24 mark of the 4th round.

Bobby improved to 27-11-3 (12KOs) while the veteran Kelly dropped to 58-7-2 (39KOs).

Pinoys Striked For Honor Against Koreans

Cavite Coliseum, Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines - Undefeated Pinoy youngster Rey Labao, won via Unanimous Decision over Korean visitor Sung-Kuk Kim in their 10-round featherweight bout, June 9th.

The 22 yrs-old Labao, dominated the fight in the early goings as he digged the Korean with effective body shots. But Kim showed why he was crowned Korean Bantamweight Champ when he came back strongly in the late rounds. But the coe back proved too little too late for the visitor and the scorecard all read 95-93, all in favor of Labao.

Labao imrpoved to 11-0 (7KOs) while Kim dropped to 9-3 (6KOs).

In the main undercard, Soo-Jung Jung's corner threw the towel in to stop the fight against another undefeated Filipino youngster, Drian Francisco. The fight was officially ended at the 5th round, with Francisco winning via TKO and improving to 7-0 (4KOs).
